Unable to edit exercise name when detected by Inspire 3

I am frustrated by the fact that Fitbit has removed the ability to edit the name of exercise activity. My Inspire 3 will detect my fast walk with weighted vest and record it as Elliptical. This means it doesn't allow me to input a new mileage from 0 and rename the activity to Walk.

I don't always remember to start the walk on my watch so I'd like the edit name of exercise activity reestablished.

Hi, @sunburntcanuck, welcome to the community. Editing exercises have been a bit unpredictable for a while, though it did appear to have settled down recently. If you touch "Exercise Days" on the "Today" screen>elliptical>the pen icon in the top right>you'll see "Elliptical" in the upper register slot, touch the slot & delete "Elliptical" and enter "Walk", "walk" with a little icon should appear underneath, touch "walk with the little icon" and it will transfer to the upper register slot and the exercise fields further down may be changed. Enter the details, then touch "SAVE" in to top right corner. Frustratingly, if you return to the "Today" screen, you'll see "Elliptical" remains the tile title, but if you touch the tile, you'll return to the edited exercise.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
