I just purchased a Charge 6 to upgrade my wife's Inspire 3, in hopes that the ECG function on the Charge 6 works better than the optical sensor on the Inspire 3 to measure heart rate and HRV, so she can start getting Heart metrics and sleep stage stages returned. My wife never gets these returned using the Inspire 3 and I suspect that it has something to do with the fact that she has a fairly frequent PAC heart arrhythmia that makes it difficult for the Inspire 3 to measure HRV using the optical sensor. We'll see if that's the case or not, but it's worth a try with the $99 Cyber Monday deal on Amazon for the Charge 6.
When I get my wife's Charge 6 and complete the setup process for that device, do I need to remove my wife's Inspire 3 device from her account first and will she lose all the Inspire 3 data that was uploaded to the server during the last several months.

Hi @Bill_209 data stays with the account, not the device. You can remove the Inspire 3 from the account while you set up the Charge 6. If your wife is not currently using her Google account, the Charge 6 requires one in order to set it up.

Thanks for the information, @Odyssey13 .
That make sense and we both have Google accounts, so the upgrade process should be fairly painless.

I received and setup my wife's net Charge 6 device yesterday, but still no sleep stages or HRV this morning.
I was extremely disappointed to read that the Charge 6 also uses the LED sensors for sleep tracking, instead of the ECG function, so the Charge 6 is no better than the Inspire 3 for that if that's the case.
