Water lock not possible once Workout started?

I am very new to Fitbits etc. I do Aqua aerobics a lot and use it for that. There does not seem to be a water workout option(?), so I have been starting a regular Workout option and it seems to work ok. But then I can not put the water lock on once in that mode. If I put the water lock on first I can not start the activity mode. I don’t want to set it for swimming instead as that does not reflect the type of exercise I am doing. The water washing over the screen occasionally stops the exercise mode. Help please?

I should point out I have an Inspire 3.

Hello @Ros5 and welcome to the Community.  You point out a significant limitation with the water lock feature.  Sadly, there is no current good option.  Please vote for and leave a comment on this Feature suggestion.   I know it's for the Charge 5, but the Inspire 3 has the same issues.  I have the same issue with the Sense 2 -- and it has a longer list of water sport shortcuts.
