Would a Fitbit Inspire 3 be a good gift if not used for exercise tracking or heart monitoring?

Thinking of getting a Fitbit Inspire 3 as a gift for someone. However I know it will not be used for exercise tracking, heart monitoring (ECG, AFib, etc. since it will be in an unsupported country) but rather just as a slightly smart watch. Notifications, telling the time and the vibrating alarm clock would be all it would be used for. Does this sound like a bad idea for a gift then? If it could be used to send live location to others, that would also be a very useful feature, but I think that’s not possible.

Hi @prathma1  you're a thoughtful friend, but no, it really wouldn't be the best gift in a country that isn't supported, The Fitbit has to be able to use the phone app in order to set the date and time, as well as being able to use it for the basics you'd like.

Stepping in the U.S.A. since September 2013. Android 14
