Besides the fact that my new Inspire 3 doesn’t work for notifications and reminders to move, I also hate the new Zone Minutes instead of Active Minutes!! I get no credit for something like a tough weightlifting workout or even yoga. It’s still exercise even if my heart rate doesn’t meet the Fitbit standard! So discouraging. I should have never upgraded. What a waste of money. Time to switch to an Apple Watch!

@Catwoman7631 I'm sorry that I can't help you with your notifications or reminders to move. I don't have personal experience with the Inspire 3. But I can address your comments about active zone minutes.
Fitbit follows many CDC recommendations for its features. The CDC stopped using active minutes as a measure of physical activity about five years ago. Both the CDC and WHO recommend 150 min/wk of moderate activity or 75 min/wk of vigorous activity or a combination of the two. Active zone minutes give you 1x per minute in the fat burn zone (equivalent to moderate intensity activity) and 2x per minute for cardio and peak (equivalent to vigorous activity). The CDC also changed its heart rate zones with the physical activity update. Fitbit's heart rate zones are more lenient than the CDC zones.
No one is saying that your yoga doesn't count as exercise. Every minute of tracked exercise is on your Fitbit app, both SmartTrack and with the Exercise app. Tap on your Exercise tile in the app, then swipe left twice in the graphs at the top.
You are certainly free to switch to a an Apple Watch if you feel like it will meet your needs. I'm not familiar with how it calculates activity. I can say that a full battery charge lasts up to 18 hours (Apple info).
I'm also moving your post to the Inspire 3 forum. I only have general troubleshooting advice and I hope that someone else can help you more.

Do you have the Fitbit to allow notifications in the app settings (not the app itself)? And Bluetooth is on? I don't know if that's the default or not but you should check. My Inspire 3 always alerts me of text messages if I'm within the Bluetooth range of my phone. I believe the Fitbit heart rate standard is a simple calculation based on your age. You can adjust those numbers in the app.
