im looking for a tracker / watch that does the basic things. step counting, sleep tracking (basic) and some activities.
I was looking into the Fitbit Inspire 3 and while I read a lot of positives about it, there are people who advice to stay away from Fitbit at the moment.
I gotta say, I am really deep into the Apple system, so naturally the Watch SE is an option too (40mm). It is roughly 100€ more for me. What I dont like is the battery. I dont like the idea of having to charge it every day because I know eventually the watch will end up staying on the charger more and more and I'll lose interest. I know that the 44mm has better battery life than 40mm but I dont like having big watches.
since I really want basic things (and lets just say I dont care if my tracker tells me I did 10000 steps when in reality I "only" did 9500) - should I just pull the trigger on the inspire 3? or should I pay 100€ more and get the "full experience" with the AW?

Go for it. Inspire 3 is a no nonsense, to the point simple tracker. Battery life is brilliant and for things like sleep tracking super comfortable to wear to bed.
