new inspire 3 doesn’t track sleep at all

hi all,

today is my third day with my new inspire 3. everything seems to be working EXCEPT sleep logging. i am wearing the tracker in the correct place during sleep, i have changed it from “sensitive” to “normal”, but both of the nights i’ve had it, it hasn’t logged any sleep hours AT ALL. i’ve had to manually go in and add sleep based on guessing.

can the tracker not read sleep through tattoos?? if so i wish i had known this before i bought it.

i’ve had flex 2 trackers in the past (until they made them obsolete but refusing to update them anymore), and this is my first time with the inspire 3. i figured it would track sleep automatically. does it have to take 7 days to figure out sleep tracking like the “daily readiness” thing?

thanks for any help you can offer. i have tried searching and nothing offered seems to help.

Hi, @andthroughaday. To track sleep your device needs to record your HR if your wrist is inked the sensors cant detect to reflected LED lights on which it depends. I'm told that some lighter coloured ink allows the sensor to work, but I can only suggest you ask a family member or friend to wear your Inspire 3 for a couple of days. Alternatively, if your other wrist is ink-free, wear it there.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
