not auto tracking my daily exercises

I have my fitbit inspire 3 set to auto track my exercises but it has me manually put in the data. I can put in everything but the calories burned bc I don't know. The calories burned on my watch are from the whole day.

@jeping1981 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.

There seems to be a misunderstanding here. If you let the Inspire 3 use SmartTrack (automatic recognition of an activity) you shouldn't input any of the data of the activity. Please have a look at this: Which activities does my Fitbit device track automatically?
Here you'll find how to setup SmartTrack Can I change how my activities are tracked?

On the other hand, there are some activities, where you need to activate its detection. (ag Run)
Swipe the clock face until you see the activities on the Inspire 3.

On some activities you'll see an arrow below the icon. Swipe up, and you'll see (on specific activities ) eg. Run Detect/Detect Run.
Turn it on to activate the auto detection too.
