Clock Faces and International Date Format

My inspire HR does not show the date on the clock face in international date format (i.e. DD/MM instead of MM/DD).

 

I have tried setting my location to different places and still the clock face displays MM/DD despite my location and timezone being set to the UK.

 

I have searched around these forums and nobody seems to have an answer for this.

From my own testing, I found that if you set your location to something that changes the language to something else, say Dutch or German. The date will be the correct, non-american, easy to read international standard.

How ever this will also change the language in the interface - so it is certainly not a solution.

 

I honestly expected more from fitbit - voting for features seems like hitting a pillow, nothing happens (if other posts are to be trusted).

 

I picked a clockface that does not show date, which is also annoying, but at least I dont have to look at the abomination that is the american date format.

 

Sorry for the rant - I get where you are coming from 🙂

Agree, this is an absolute joke. Wouldn't buy another unless this sis sorted out and will be advising friends accordingly
