This week Fitbit started breaking my sleep up into multiple segments. The breaks seem to occur if I wake up go to the bathroom or downstairs for more water. It’s almost like it’s trying to auto sense I’m awake. I noticed another person post this in sleep forum why is this happening? Yes my Fitbit is on right, I have sensitivity set to normal, I have bed time goal. I have latest software. The moon guy gets the time right but the sleep log messes it up. Why is this happening

@Pksrowland37 Welcome to the Community.
Thank you for checking your tracker's settings. Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.
Hope this helps.

Hi Alvaro
Actually what I found out you can do is delete the shortest segment and edit the other segment and change the end or start time to the correct info. Once you do that fitbit will recalculate the sleep and give you a score.
