Not sure if anyone faced this problem but the heart rate function on my Inspire HR stop functioning. It is showing grey and ‘—‘ on the tracker and the green light at the back is no longer there. I tried to restart (saw the smiley face), tried to rub alcohol, turn off, sync, turn on, sync but all of the above doesn’t seem to work. I’ve also tried wearing it slightly higher on the wrist, then tried lower but none work. Has anyone faced this before and have a working solution? Thanks.

@luvsmygrands @Skyyblue It's good that the community is growing!
@luvsmygrands happy to hear that our Support team is sending you a replacement tracker.
@Skyyblue thank you for restarting your tracker. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Keep me posted.

mine does have green light on back but no active HR (resting HR is there). restarted it 3x with no luck yet.
So, I did an online chat yesterday and was able to get the HR to work on my tracker by scrolling down on the tracker to settings, then HR, then ON; it was showing off which the chat person was able to realize for me. My green lights on the back have always been okay, so can't help with that, unfortunately. cheers.

My Fitbit inspire HR is not tracking my heart rate since last 5 hours & no green light from the sensors underneath. Already tried rebooting 4-5 times, cleaned the device 2 times, unpaired my Inspire HR from mobile app 2 times, turned off and turned on the HR tracking 4-5 times & still no resolution. How can I get this to work again

I just called customer service about my Inspire 2/HR. They hung up on me after being on hold for 10 minutes. So disappointing. I had great experiences with my fitbit in the past!

I have had the same exact issue since the last big update - no heart rate. Battery issues as well. I have to charge mine every night so now I don't even get the sleep info. At the end of a full day, with an hour an 40 minute run, my HR will be at 60-ish percent. If I don't charge it over night, it will drop another 40% down to 20%. I took off all reminders to move and keep my GPS off unless I am running. I also do not have any notifications coming through. I had turned off my heart rate as well at the last update since my battery wasn't even lasting a day and now that isn't even working any more. There are no green lights on the back and, yes, my heart rate is on in the settings. Also, since that last big update, my HR doesn't vibrate when I hook up to a charger.
I know all the hoops to jump through---reset, clean it, tighten the wrist band, etc. NOTHING IS WORKING. My last FitBit Alta died after a big update a little over a year ago (Aug/Sept 2019) which prompted me to purchase an Inspire HR. I am truly frustrated with FitBit and updates because things just don't work right then die.

My Inspire 2 stopped tracking the heart rate and the green light was not working. I contacted the customer service via chat and they solved the problem right away. Somehow I switched to "On Clip" mode. I changed it back to "On Wrist" and it is working now.

Same for me since Oct. Support team could not solve issue. Rebooted, reinstalled, reset, bluetooth on/off. Nothing has worked. Thus sleep data is no longer available as well.

Thank you! This was my problem also. No lights, no heart rate. It had somehow switched to on clip.

Same here. Brand new but no flashing lights - all other function work. Will see how the warranty works out.

Thank you! This fixed my issue!
If anyone else wants to try this fix, you can access the "On Clip/On Wrist" option by holding the sides of the bit for a second (it'll buzz and bring up the Quick Settings menu), then scroll down to the clip/wrist option at the bottom. I had somehow set mine to "on clip", but once I changed to to "on wrist" it started working again 🙂

So the same thing happened to me and it bugged me like crazy so what you do is hold the two buttons on the side untell you get to the thing where you can water lock it and scroll down to where it says on clip click that and it will say on wrist and then check and it should be flashing green again hope this helped
