Need a tracker that does not need to be wrist worn all the time (Fitbit one about dead)

have had my Fitbit One for about 4+ years and the battery is just about dead. I am not someone that likes to wear a watch or anything on my wrist. I am just having a hard time find a place where I can find a good break down of trackers.

  • With pushing my kids stroller for some times hours at a time I want something that can track my steps correctly.
  • Want something I do not have to wear on my wrist at all times.
  • As I want to get more fit I would like something when doing more of a workout it could track a heartbeat and other heath items. (know I might have to do wrist wear during a work out)

I am reading mixed on the HR being able to do this.  Can I use the HR on a pocket clip?  Is there a way to use it in my ankle?  My Fitbit one battery is only lasting about 3-4 days now so know it is going to die soon. 😞

Thanks for any help or ideas.

The Inspire, non-HR, has an optional clip you can buy, but it does not track heart rate.

The clip does not fit the Inspire HR correctly.  I don't know if you could find any acceptable third-party clips that fit the Inspire HR.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I work in the operating room. Did a lot of research before purchasing the Inspire HR and 2 ankle bands from Amazon from independent sellers. The ankle bands have to have a net pocket so the HR monitor can face and contact your skin. I chose the straps with snaps because the Velcro ones had poor reviews about the Velcro wearing out. It’s been over a year and I have good HR tracking all day and night. I have a home strap and wear it on my ankle for sleep too. Something to consider. Hope it helps.
