170K steps in one day. While i was sleepong

Have had this ionic over a year now it's broke. First it said I did 170k steps in one day. About 92 miles if anyone was wondering. I reset and now it's not tracking anything. HR or steps have stopped. Another reset hasn't helped. Not sure of the issue. I haven't done anything different with it. Must be time to get something new

Is the Fitbit near a vibration source like a fan, dehumidifier, or even a computer CPU? It can see the vibration as steps and add false steps.

 

You can enter a driving record to get rid of them

Delete Steps

 

I would contact support . Use the Help link at the top of the forum
