My Ionic is registering over 47,000 steps for the day at a distance of .66 miles. Houston, I think we have a problem.
I don't want this day messing with my badges and logs.

There are more people who had this problem.
In most cases, the watch was lying on a nightstand or table (sometimes while charging) with a fan blowing air around it.
This made the table vibrate a little and change the airpressure around it.
So check that this is not your situation.

I have not read about undoing steps, so i am afraid it won't be possible.
But maybe someone else can answer that one.

Fan got me also when I charged my ionic for the first time. I clocked up over 10k all while I was asleep (must have been one hell of a sleep walk).
Unfortunately There does not seem to be anyway of removing these excess steps at this stage. I did however consider walking backwards so the count would go down, but decided that people might look at me as if I was weird or something if they saw me walking backwards about town. 🙂
