Hello,

 

I have just received my Ionic. I love it. However, I am reading a lot about the 8 month battery issue.... do we know if this issue is resolved with newer Ionics?

I have an older Ionic and I have no 8 month battery issue! Mine still lasts 5 days every time.

It sounds like you may have gotten a lemon.  I would see if I could exchange it.  If you bought it through the Fitbit site, I would contact Support and see if they would be willing to exchange it.  If not, I would go back to the retailer and see if they would consider doing an exchange.
