@Izabell Natalie... from one Martin to another. I'm sorry you see it as an issue but I have no problems syncing all of my Fitbits. Others I have communicated with ie Norway and UK don't seem to have a problems either, now that's on the XP.
The Fitbit compatibility list means your phone has never been tested and the last Sony on the list, the Z1 was released in 2013..... and in that year there were 11,600 different Android devices.. Fitbit logically will try and match the sales leaders.

XZs.... Where am I wrong? Why couldn't sync???
Because my Sony XP works I cannot offer any suggestions other than the following..
Here are some pointers from the Fitbit Help..
Sony Xperia Z and Z1: You may not be able to sync if you have both Bluetooth and Wi-FI turned on.

@Izabell Great that you are syncing..
I fixed my update issues a couple of months ago by deleting the Ionic on the iPad and Windows 10. I was having problems updating and was trying all devices and not realising keeping the pairing on different devices was causing the problem.
