So I have found some threads on this, but not that much, and nothing recent.
Is this still an issue? I am sitting here at my desk, with a HR of 47 on my Polar with belt (which to me is accurate, I have seen something like this for a long time - I even noticed that resting HR is 50+ when not in training and dropping well below 50 when i have been training for a month or two - on different devices, i.e. this is accurate. Fitbit is anywhere between 76 and 86.
That is miles off. I would even call it ridiculous. Is there a calibration one can do? Or is this still a known, open issue?
Thanks

Hi Silvia, thank you!
As it turns out, after the first night's sleep, it drastically changed readings and is now what I would call accurate.
I also tested it while cycling, and after about 45 minutes the average heart rate was exactly the same as that of my Polar one.
The only thing I noticed is that it lags behind, it rises later but also falls later. But yes, identical average that is pretty sweet!
