Accuracy of swimming activity

My Ionic is consistently inaccurate. It does not track my swim distance, stops timing during my swim, hesitates when trying to go to swim excercise, very frustrating. What can be done as customer support has had me reset so many times it is not going to ever work.

Hi @Jlip, it sounds like something is fishy with your Ionic.  I'm flagging your post for moderator attention since you mentioned that you have already reached out to Support and have yet to hear from them.  Hopefully, a moderator will be in touch with you soon.

I have heard from customer support more than once and every time it is the
same answer. Reset tour fitbit and we are aware of your problem and working
on a solution but there is no timeline when that will be done. Basically,
my first Ionic worked perfect until it just died one day for no reason and
fitbit replaces it under warranty. However, the replacement one has not
performed anywhere close to the original one and when I asked if they
replaced it with a new one or a refurbished one they just said sometimes
they are refurbished. Basically I have a device that is useless and fitbit
is ok with not having a satisfied customer. Pretty sad for what I thought
was a very reputable company.
