Active Minutes Not Counting?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I did a Fitbit Coach workout for 25 minutes. It include burbees, jumping jacks, etc. But no active minutes were counted?

The past several other workouts I did active minutes always showed .I restarted the watch but it still doesn't show .

Just got an ionic a couple of weeks ago as well and having the same issue.  I go for a 30 minute run and get 10 active minutes, and I am maybe acumulating 30 per day.  I am also thinking my GPS has some issues as well but since I am farther north it could be an issue with coverage.

At least yours are showing something. Mine read 0 after a workout.

The way the active minutes are counted is after a certain amount of higher end activity it will start reading it as active minutes.

So depending on the 30 minutes you did the 10 minutes was at the higher end.

At least that's how it was explained to me

Well the activity is a 30 minute run, at max heart rate the whole time, cant imagine how it would not interpret that as an active minute. Replaced a charge 2 with this and the charge 2 would give me active minutes for the run and the cooldown walk afterwards, so around 40 minutes. Usually by the end of the day on the charge 2 I was pushing 200 minutes.

Interesting? Must be a bug somewhere. Either with the watch or app then

Yeah definitely a bug. I'm actually out on a walk with my dog right now and I have 60+ minutes of active minutes from it alone. I look at the graph in the app and it shows nothing from my workout this morning

I had the same exact problem this morning for the first time. Out on walk for at least 30 mins using the gps and walk exercise, was working at 15 mins and by the time I completed the walk it had failed and did not record any minutes. The one thing I noticed, there was an FITBIT app upgrade for IOS this past weekend...wonder if that had something to do with it?

Funny. They are suppose to be doing an update to the app for Android that fixes issues with things getting zeroed out

Just recently switched from a Charge 2 to a Ionic and having my first Fitbit issues. With the Ionic my calories and active minutes aren't being tracked. Today I have 0 active minutes and burned 228 calories (3,000 + average). Worked out today for 1:18 with a 131 avg heartrate and burned 0 calories and no active minutes.

I attempted to reboot the Ionic and my calorie count still hasn't changed. All of my personal stats are current and updated my weight with my Aria 2.

I am having the same problem in 2019. Yesterday I took one of my regular long walks that I always get 60-90 or so active minutes from and came back with 0 active minutes.  (This morning I already have 13 active minutes from running around my apartment! lol)  Another thing that happened yesterday is that the watch congratulated me for 14 hours straight of 250+ steps, but this was not shown on the dashboard- it showed just 13 hours. It's a mystery!  My watch is one year old, and I hope it isn't breaking down. I shut everything down, but that didn't help.  Why have the thing if it's not accurate. It is so discouraging.
