Hi, why does my Fitbit heart rate continue to read even though the Fitbit is off my wrist, also when on my wrist it’s been reading 188 beats per minute, but then when reset drops to normal heart rate ? The heart rate also freezes quite a lot & has to be reset to get rid of the issue, it’s really annoying & you can never get a good understanding of health or anything when the device constantly thinks heart rate is 120bpm or above untill reset then drops to 65/70bpm when reset, it records all the elevated heart rates on the app meaning your stats are nothing at all what they should be ? Is there a reason for this before it gets binned & try find a device that does actually work & read things correctly more constant ! Thanks

@Doogie73 Same problem. HR 190. Checked manually and with another device. Ionic is being returned; bye-bye Fitbit!

@Doogie73 A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.
I appreciate the troubleshooting tried and the details mentioned. I see where you're coming from.
You may want to check this information on how your Fitbit detects your heart rate reading. Since you mentioned that you're not receiving a correct reading, verify the factors that can affect your heart-rate reading on your Fitbit watch.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
