Adidas training app has no exercise explanation

Hi,

I bought my brand new Ionic Adidas edition primarily for its look but the Adidas app is absolutely useless! It only shows a name for an exercise how am I supposed to know what to do? I know some of the exercises but most I have no idea what to do. Is there a way to show a preview as in Fitbit Coach? Did miss it (tried the back shortcut as in the Coach app)?

Please consider updating the app with ANY form of explanation as to what the exercise is.

Currently, you can only see the exercise, go to next/pause, or see a list with the names only of all exercises.

Hi everyone,

I have a new Fitbit Ionic Adidas version (upgrade from my previous Fitbit) and I, too, am not getting the training previews. I’m just adding my comment so that Fitbit will see that there are several of us with the same problem.

Pretty sure it's a problem with the app itself and not the watch but I'm
slowly regretting spending the extra as I can't use the app

Hi,

I bought the Ionic Adidas edition a few days ago and I am having the same problem. No 7 seconds preview in the Adidas training app. Everything else is working fine but I paid extra just for this app.

I am still having the issue as well. The FitBit Coach app is giving me a preview so I know it is an issue with the app. Should I be complaining to Adidas instead? This is a little ridiculous that it is taking so long to figure out something that is already working so well with the FitBit Coach app.....

I see there was a update to 3.0 yesterday but it had nothing to do with
adidas 7second preview. What's going on fitbit

Same issue still with FitBit OS 3.0. I did see exercise previews at one of the watch resets I did but as soon as the watch updated to the latest FitBit OS (currently the new 3.0), exercise previews disappeared. I'm very glad FitBit are working on a fix, here's hoping we get a Christmas gift from the developers!

Happy holidays to all of FitBit and the community!

“Please update the firmware of your watch accordingly to get this problem fixed!”

“Thanks for your replies to let us know you're still seeing this issue on the Fitbit OS 3.0 firmware.”

Hmm?  Would not be happy at all if specifically bought the Adidas version to see previews -> but then the watch did not display them.  Seems the 3.0 did not fix the problem as promised.

Question is -> What is up with this Fitbit ->  Is this known issue actually solved in 3.0?

Def Fitbit wants and needs any and all feedback on this -> to confirm if any known issues have “actually been resolved in this latest 3.0 update”.  Applies really to any problem posted in this forum.  Not just this one.  Helps Fitbit address these issues -> and really helps keep Ionic users informed of the “actual resolution status” in the wild.

So far it seems 3.0 added a feature here and there -> but did not actually fix known issues and bugs.  As well has caused many new reported problems.  Hmm?

Really there is no need to suffer in Frustration - simply call Tech Support at 877-623-4997 and get your Ionic replaced right now while you can
Many have followed this straightforward advice and now have a replacement Ionic - we all should have “zero tolerance” for any defective Ionic

This is a great topic!!! I was just about to update my ionic. I’m sooo glad I did the research first. Still rockin’  32.10.20. Ionic and the Adidas app is fine and running without any issues what so ever. I think i will stick to the OG firmware. Thanks guys!

Has a fix actually been identified or not? I did get the watch specifically for the Adidas app so this situation is really quite annoying.
