My fitbit ionic has been down since December. Back story. One day it didn't stop counting my steps. I got about 19k steps and only walked about 10k of that. I factory reset it and then it flashed the fitbit logo and in every language said "to start, download the app" I still had it. My 13 year old son YouTube it and I had to unpair it from the app. It worked and then it stopped tracking my steps and heart rate. Wondering if there's a way to purposely calibrate the fitbit or another way to get my ionic to track. It is about 3 years.

@meganneilsen Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for sharing details about what you're experiencing with your Ionic. I appreciate the research done prior to posting.
You mentioned you performed a factory reset. I would like you to restart it and check if it starts tracking your steps once again. It's not possible to calibrate your watch, this was an error message back in 2018, learn more about it here.
Let me know the outcome.
