Using most recent apps on either android or iOS can’t sync or setup my ionic. After desperately trying to get sync my ionic, tried factory reset.

On iOS can’t get past the sync pairing with four digit code. Device keeps giving a http 500 error and keeps asking me to enter a new number. On android (Samsung s8 running pie) can’t remove device to set it up as it cannot connect to fitbit.com.

I have tried reinstalling apps.

Losing my data is not an acceptable solution.

this is my third fitbit device and I have nearly four years of data.

I just got a brand new one Fitbit Ionic, and experiencing exactly the same problem as written here. Is it a global problem, related to some service stop from Fitbit site?
