I needed to charge my Ionic over the weekend, the battery completely drained after normal use (I forgot to put it on the charger while it still had some battery). When I woke up this morning, the ionic screen told me to download the fitbit app.
As this is not a new ionic, I told the app to sync, but it said it couldn't find my ionic. I decided to "add a new device" and selected replace ionic to start the download and update process for my ionic. I am currently at 73% downloading. Hoping my info is not lost as I am a cardiac patient and share all the data with my team of doctors.

Hi @AGDouglaa, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. Please keep me posted and let me know if the issue persists after the firmware update gets completely installed.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

For the most part it seems to be working fine. There was an issue with my clock face earlier. I had changed it to one I had already downloaded and it changed back on its own later. I had to change it again. So far so good.
Is there a known issue if the fitbit completely dies (normal battery use) and given a full charge it resets itself? I noticed when I plugged it up last night it did not immediately respond, but I figured thats because the battery was completely drained. When I checked this morning, it only charged to 57%. A bit odd, but so far seems to be fine after the reset.

I updated my unit and the problems started, now the battery is only working for 6 hours.
Fitbit Team told me than cannot be replaced so they recommended me to buy anther... a joke! I'm very unhappy with that
