I have the same problem, is there a solution to this?

No, you have to buy a new one. They gave me 30% off new one but I don't think I'll use it. I've bought six fitbits and they all last just 1-2 years. I've sent several messages to fitbit, but no luck. At this point they've politely told me that they try to build good products but it looks like it didn't work for me.

If you hear of another brand that's higher quality and service please let me know.

I've had several other brands suggested, so I'll let you know how it goes.

Yeah, not good.

It took about five messages just to get a proper response. They did everything they could to keep from just answering me straight.

I should publish the emails...
