After updating Ionic, heart rate isn't accurate

I updated my tracker with the new firmware  night and then it wanted me to calibrate so I did.

I did a hike this morning that I normally do that is fairly strenuous. All my other hikes show about 30 minutes of cardio but my watch showed I only spent an hour in fat burn. I know I was VERY exerted for a portion of the hike but it seems like my heart rate tracking is significantly off. How can I fix it?

@Juggernaughty It's nice to see you in the Fitbit Community. Thank you for letting me know that your heart rate accuracy changed after you updated your Ionic.

I would like you to follow these tips:

  • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
  • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the band that came with your device.
  • After trying the tips above restart your watch and try again

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
