All you did was allow the user to turn the volume down. We need it up. My Bose Comfort 35 volume can go up NO issues. The MAX level is still too Low. Come on fix this stuff and dont say it is a Apple thing. Its your device and your volume control I work at a IT help desk and know the so called comments. We are all ready getting no Spotify lets get this right Thanks

Do the volume comtrols work as well? When I pair I either get really soft volume or really loud volume. No ability to adjust it.

Humm @SunsetRunner, can you confirm that your volume controls on your ionic are controlling your airpods correctly please? Thanks so much!
Is anybody from Fitbit can actually respond and provide a resolution update here?!

Hello everyone! Thanks for your continuous participation on this thread regarding Ionic connecting to Airpods.
Our team has received the feedback from everyone in this thread and is working to investigate these reports further. I will share updates from the team when I hear them.
Thanks to everyone for your reports and understanding. In the meantime, I recommend following these steps to sort this out (if you haven't done so already):
Also, it seems that @SunsetRunner has a workaround that helped him out to get the volume control correctly. Please check his post here and try the steps there. Please let me know the outcome!
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

Having the same problem. Only made a profile to comment on how the Fitbit representative on this thread is obnoxious by trying to divert attention to apps and Fitbit on Facebook instead of openly admitting this is a ridiculous problem to still be having with this product in 2019.

Hi all!
I had the same issue and found a fix.
After testing the watch vs iPhone I found that the max volume is set to your current volume settings on your phone.
What I did to fix this:
- Disconnect Bluetooth from Air pods to fitbit watch
- Connect Bluetooth from Air pods to phone
- Increased volume to max on phone
- Disconnect Bluetooth from Air pods to phone
- Connect Bluetooth from Air pods to fitbit watch
(note: I didn't try just increasing volume of phone while the Air pods were still connected to fitbit watch.)
Good luck!

The volume on AirPods are Super Low, no such problem on other Bluetooth earphones. Is there a fix to this? I’ve been reading the comments, no solutions.

The issue is present in many other earphones. 3 years after this was first reported. One more little detail adding up to my decision to return the Sense.
