Alarm Doesn't Go off with "low" battery?

This morning my Ionic's vibration alarm did not go off.  I've noticed this twice, and the only thing that I can see that connects the two instances is that the battery was considered "low" When I checked the battery this morning it was at 25% which I'd hardly consider low anyways.  Is there any way to force an alarm to go off even if the battery is considered low?

Not that I am aware of.  The alarms take up a little bit of juice (though exactly how much I'm not sure), which may be why it didn't go off this morning.

I have also experienced "missed" alarms at relatively full battery.

I’ve also had this more than once. Thought I was just sleeping through the vibration but this morning watched it pass the alarm time without going off. Was very careful to check that “On” was selected before pressing the left button to exit the Alarm App when I set it and that the alarm time was correct (am/pm). Hopefully a firmware update will improve the reliability of the alarm as this is not a good feature to be intermittent.

Finally worked out the problem. If the Fitbit Ionic is locked, which it automatically does if you remove it from your wrist due to Fitbit Pay security requirements, then the alarm will not go off.

I was setting the alarm and then sometimes taking off the Fitbit Ionic to have a shower or recharge it (which I only have to do once a week, thankfully), and forgetting to unlock it. Now I ensure that it is unlocked when using the alarm it is performing well.

This is happening to me, but on very low battery, less than 12%! Low battery is the only thing I can put this down to, as I also don’t get messages!?
