Anyone happy with their Ionic?

Is anyone happy with their Ionic? Is yours fully working and syncing? It seems most discussions here are about the problems, but looking at different stores online the reviews are still mostly positive. I can't tell if the one I have is just never going to work or it's a firmware issue that could be fixed. Right now I'm leaning towards this one is never going to work, but then I'm not sure if I should get a new one or not.

I have been very happy with my Ionic since I bought it last July, until tonight. The display went blank, it won’t charge and it won’t connect/sync. It seems quite dead. Upsetting to say the least.

Mine was put in the box and is sitting in a draw. Couldn’t sync with my iPhone. Heart rate recording was off. Mileage was off.

I have a possible fix for you.
Use a laptop to charge it. Low voltage.
Plug it in. Wait about 20 minutes then push and hold the two buttons the
turn it off.
If you see it light up just leave it be and let it charge.

If this all started after a dead battery then once you get it working.
Never let it die. Charge it when it says its low.
You can use the wall charger once it starts up again.
Good luck

Yes. I'm happy with mine. I've had the Charge, Surge and now the Ionic. The older two had their problems, and these were solved with the Ionic.

This isn't the most expensive watch around, yet, for the price point, it serves its purpose really well. It's comfortable, doesn't fall off, can go swimming with me, has plenty of clock faces, the GPS and HR can be exported and spliced with my bike rides.

The only thing that could be better would be a connection to my bikes cadence/speed sensor. I'm guessing that this will come in a future iteration and if I was desperate for it now, then I'd go spend three to four times the money on a different product. The sad thing is that it's technically possible to do this with the fitbit ionic right now if someone could code it into the firmware.

Yes, I'm happy with my fitbit and I enjoy wearing and using it.

Thats great that it worked.
Now you cant let it go to zero percent.

Being that you still have a six month warranty left. I recommend you have
them send you a replacement. It will do it again. And one day that low
voltage trick will fail to fix it.

Nope....not happy lasted just about 1 month past 2 years. I never abused it and always wiped it down after exercise and it just died after a week of missing pixels. Its my 3rd fitbit and I won't be buying another.

No.  It locks up and needs to be reset and software re-installed every few months.  It sucks.

my ionic stopped syncing with my iPhone 6. I got a new iPhone 11. It works a little better but I still have issues with it syncing occasionally.
