App says 5.16 miles, Ionic says 8.72 miles

Hello I got a new Fitbit ionic and I  used it today and my miles on the app and on my tracker are different my miles on the app says 5.16 miles on my tracker says 8.72. I have restarted it 3 times I have also turned my Bluetooth on and off several times it's not a big thing I don't guess but it really bugs me can anyone help thank you

@Thekrafts Welcome to the Fitbit family! Sometimes that happens when you haven't synced your watch in a while. The app could be showing the data it got from the last time you synced it while the watch was showing the actual data.

 

Did you tried syncing your watch?

 

If you are syncing, but data is still showing the same, you could try performing a factory reset on your Ionic settings.
