@clerkp wrote:Hi using an iPhone x. Apple email app does not show up in my notifications list. So I can't get email notifications. Only Gmail shows up. Is it me or is this not available?
Have you enabled the appropriate switch in Notifications?
Best AnswerI also had this problem, and I think, I solved it.
Please try this: Go to iOS settings -> Notifications -> Mail. Be sure you have activated "Allow Notifications". Then, select your mail-account and activate "Show on Lock Screen", "Show in History" and "Show a Bassers". As long as I had "Show in History" not selected, the notifications where not shown on my ionic!
Please reply, if this helped.
Try switching off email notifications in Settings -> Notifications -> Mail.
I had to switch Allow Notifications to off and then switch it all back on again, ensuring "Show in History" was also selected.
Once I'd done that then "Mail" was available to select in the Fitbit notification settings.
Best AnswerOk thanks for the responses. I got my notifications running but they only come through as a couple of lines. In other words, I can't actually read the entire email. That is unacceptable if true. Is there a setting to fix this?

You won’t be able to read the email, as the Ionic is only geared towards showing notifications, not full headers and contents.
