Having received so many negative aswers (which, by the way, I share) I really wish to know if most people or just some people are disatisfied with this product?
I won't ask again if Fitbit Ionic is worthwhile buying. I just want to know who is satisfied with the device?
I am terribly deceived with my third trial.
Hoping that it is not everybody's case?
Comalito.

I have only had mine for a couple of days and so far and really like it. I had a charge for about 7 years until it bit the dust. So far it is far superior to the Charge.

Every few days the sync feature stops working to my iPad and the only way to restore functionality is to do a Ionic reset. Is there a software fix etc for this annoying problem?

I loved mine until the Bluetooth went out after 5 months of use. They did send me a replacement, but no heart rate and constant calibration requests and failures. It might end up in the trash if customer support doesn't find a solution quickly. Getting really tired of playing with it, rebooting it and my phone. Frustrated!

had mine since last christmas, never had a problem as others have experienced, music loads fine , weather app works for me and i went down the road of getting a card from another bank to use fitbit pay. i like the design and ive always used a protector on the screen.
I do miss the swipe right for battery level and a heart level warning would be a great extra but is ignored by fitbit despite over 4000 votes in suggestions.
@Marc_not_Mark i believe there is a water app you can add to your watch, not sure if its fully integrated into the fitbit app, but may be worth a look

Hello everyone! Thanks for your continuous participation on this thread regarding your experience, thoughts, and feedback for Ionic.
Thanks for sharing your reviews, I'm glad to see many users satisfied with their watch so far.
For the ones having any trouble with it; I'd recommend checking the Fitbit help site. You should find tips and troubleshooting steps for everything that has to do with your watch functionality. See you around!

All in all, yes I am satisfied with mine. I have had to have it replaced once...it took a bit to get it replaced but it was. I am not a swimmer and I take it off before I shower, so I can't attest to it being waterproof. I use it as a guide and don't expect it to be perfect (what in life is?). I started out with the Charge, then bought a Blaze. My Ionic was a Christmas gift from my husband (he now has my Blaze). I've noticed that he's has gotten more active since wearing it. I looked at the Samsung, Garmin and Apple watches and am sticking with the Fitbit.

I am not satisfied, for the reasons below which affect negatively my experience:
-) I have Apple Music subscription, and I cannot easily move my music there. I need to download some offline music, disable Apple music from my iTunes, copy the music there, using the sad Fitbit tool, and then restore everything. Unacceptable. I updated to the latest firmware version, and then I have to do those steps again (so not using this feature because I have no time). It was better do not provide this capability and keep the price down. Why not only a copy and paste from/to a folder instead of forcing the user to sync through iTunes????? This is crazy.
-) Fitbit Pay in UK supports only one or two unknown banks... poor support on that and after a year no improvements.
I personally give to the rest, ecosystem, iOs app, web dashboard and especially the watch itself and its design (very good looking and I like my actual watch face) 5 stars.
Pity for the points above, considering the price.

I’m very disappointed with my ionic,
it was perfect tracker for the first 8 months, everything was fine!
But then first I got some issues with it restarting and non responsive buttons, which got solved by resetting! And now suddenly the screen have started to show lines (never bumped it or threw it) , Fiat a single line appeared while I was sleeping, then within days it got worse, now the whole screen shows green lines, and it always just happen suddenly , sometimes even when it was on my desk!
So if I paid that big amount of money just for a year of use, then I’m satisfied, but very this is not the case, fit bit should’ve used good quality material, specially when making a fitness tracker which clearly will move around a lot! And specially when the cost is high as well

The device itself is ok. What I am dissatisfied with is Fitbit.
What I see as something that ought to be rivaling everybody is falling behind.
There are countless things they could update and make better, we have requested so many updates such as Cadence alerts, custom intervals, interval running, etc. these are things Garmin and others include. So why can’t we get it?
The moderatora seem to only be just that, moderators between us and the company and ao they give homogenized answers.
Then we, who paid the top dollar for Fitbit’s top of the line, are seeing Fitbit pour their money into lesser devices. The Ace, I get. I do. But the Versa and Charge 3 can come out within the Ionic’s first year of release and our watch has stayed relatively the same!?!?
Pretty insulting.

I've just had mine about a month so my opinion might not count for much.
But this far I'm in love with it. Everything works like it should and I really love the design. I just hope they enable the Spo2 funktion so I get a reading on my blood oxygen level.
Got serious bad lungs and it would be great to track how much it drops when I exercise.

@Johan74 Right!?! The design is awesome! SPO2 function was an initial promise. So it’s like we all bought the watch for it’s potential not what could actually do.

And Fitbit is still a startup...I believe it is too popular for what it offers. The solidness (also in terms of features, and the way they offer those features) of their products confirms that!
But the design, and especially the company branding and the fitness know-how are among the best

I upgraded from a Surge to the Ionic and am happy with it. It does exactly what Fitbit says it will do and have had no problems.
