Automatic Raise to wake set to manual

So I got this fitbit ionic and i set it to manual in screen wake, but sometimes when i flick my wrist or make other hand movements, and with no intention of looking at it, the screen just turns on by itself even though its set to manual

@Anfranclin, that is very unusual.  Are you sure the watch isn't getting tapped or one of the buttons momentarily pressed, both of which will turn on the display?

Sometimes that happens to me when I'm partially awake and rollover onto my other side. I put it down to a wrist action onto the pillow.

Also sometimes I find the tap to wake the screen can be slight, most times it needs at least two taps.
