I have 2 fitbits. A versa and ionic. Both broke down after about 2 years.
Problem will be sensor light spoilt and heart rate, steps no longer Tracking.
Would like to hear from more people about their experience. Skeptical towards buying another fitbit. Since there are many brands out there with similar functions.

I have owned multiple trackers and they rarely last much longer than the warranty. On more than one, it was uncanny how close to the warranty expiration the unit failed.

Certainly my experience with the Ionic. ( My previous 2-a Flex and a Charge 2 worked fine but I needed upgrades.) The Ionic worked perfectly until Fitbit issued a faulty firmware update which killed it. As you stated, Customer Support consists of issuing mostly useless scripts without actually reading and addressing the problem. And they never addressed the problem caused by the update-I am not alone. My Ionic, sadly, could not be revived. And,no, I refuse to waste another Penney. (My Garmin just arrived.)

I have a sister with a 3 year old tracker, my niece still has the Charge 4 which was obtained a month before the official release. Personally I haven't experienced a tracker failure in less than 3 years. I also noticed, on the board, that many still are using 6-8 year old trackers.

I had a Blaze for about a year before it stopped working, and now my Ionic has stopped working in under a year. My friend had three Versas within a year and they kept breaking. I'm giving up on this brand.

Nope. Didn't even get the chance to update it. One minute it was working, next the screen was blank but it still vibrated.

I am in the Ionic boat with others. The heart rate function on mine just died. Have tried all the recommended procedures and no luck. Wondering what to get next.
