A week ago my 5 week old spit up and it went all over my ionic. I washed it off, and next thing I knew it was dead. I put it on the charger, and nothing. For the last week I have tried turning it on, doing a hard reset, googling for answers, and have come up with nothing. Could a little baby spit up really have toasted my iconic??? I thought they were water resistant? Any ideas?

Hi @Aislinn123 congrats on the new baby! You sure have a lot going on these days. Why not try cleaning the Ionic with some rubbing alcohol with a toothbrush and if necessary, a toothpick. Be sure to get the contacts clean on it. Clean your charger too, as it may have gotten some of the spit up on it. Could be the Ionic got wet inside, which would mean putting it in a bowl of dry rice for a day or so. All my years here, this is a first. Try that and see if it helps. Meanwhile, I'll see if the moderator team knows of anything else that might help you.
