Hello all - for the past few hours the back button on my Ionic has not been able to be pressed for 90%+ of the time, with the short blips in periods where it can be pressed. It still clicks and feels normal to push, but it does not do anything. Every few seconds the Fitbit seems to pop up with the message "Nothing new here, you are all caught up!" too.

 

I have attempted to shut down the device but it just turns itself back on.

 

I have factory reset the device twice, in case it was related to the update or something, I had a few seconds every now and then when it was working - I reckon it was just because of the angle I had my wrist or something as it didn't last long.

 

If I give the watch a flick on the left side it seems to start working for a few seconds too, kind of hinting that it is the device itself that is working.

 

- I have only had the watch since January, so don't expect any faults like this. Any advice outside of calling the support line which seems to take forever on hold (yet to be able to get through to anyone)?

What was the solution? I am having the exact same issue. Every few seconds, I receive the exact same "Nothing new here - You're all caught up!" message.

Unfortunately the solution was a replacement device 😕
