I was a Fitbit customer for over 5 years. I had the zip, charge, surge, blaze and ionic after a year of use on the ionic my battery has the same problem as yours. They wouldn’t help me out. I been looking at Garmin and I may just make the jump. They use to have great customer service when they started but now looks like it all about the money and not the customer.

I have a “brand new” Ionic that was a replacement which has the same issue (plus others) do it looks like it’s not necessarily a wear and tear issue.

This happened to mine after the update weeks ago. I tried all the suggestions and it still does not work. I will be replacing with a different brand.

Out of the blue, my Ionic started draining battery rapidly since yesterday. And when I slept at 10.45pm after checking it and this morning at 7.30am when I checked again, the battery fell from 81% to 30%! That's nuts! I did the factory reset, power cycled a few times including shutdown, checked the GPS etc. And no I did NOT add a single thing to it prior. The watch has been with me since July 2019 and has always held the charge steadily until this. Theres no way it could be software unless a recent update messed it up? Was there? Should I RMA this?

Thanks for your suggestion. I have left it with the default clock after the factory resets but that did not help. I suspect it could have been due to an update but there is no way for me to revert to an earlier firmware version to try to resolve this.

Hey I'm in the same boat... Live chat had me run a battery test and my watch barely made it to 20 hours from 100% to shut down... All of it is very weird just last week the battery lasted me 4+ days per charge, then the battery issues started suddenly...

I’m having the same battery drain issue with my iconic!
if I’m to change the iconic should I have to take it to the same store from where I purchased it or is it possible to change it in another store where they deal Fitbit?

This issue of the Fitbit Ionic battery draining within one day or less under normal use has been marked “solved”. I am recently (within the last few week), experiencing the same issue and despite scouring all related posts, I still don’t know what the solution is. I haven’t been using the device in any way different from before, but still am challenged with this issue. I’ve tried turning the device off and back on; upgrading the firmware; making sure wifi is off; deleting the device from my account and then re-adding it...I’ve done it all. Nothing works.
I am a big Fitbit fan and have been for many years. I always go with their top of the line device. The Ionic is supposed to be Fitbit’s iconic, flagship device, its certainly their most expensive fitness tracker. I should not be experiencing these sort of problems.
Is anyone else still experiencing this issue with their Ionic and if so, what’s your proposed solution?
Thanks in advance.
