My Ionic's battery life is not what it was new and that is to be expected. I make sure that I try to charge it frequently, such as when watching tv or driving.
Yesterday it was charged to 100% between 3:00-6:00pm. At 8:00 it was at about 97%. Went to bed, woke up at 1230am and device was dead. Plugged it in and it read 0%. Left it plugged in through the night and it's back to "normal" now. This is the second time it's happened.
This does not seem like a typical battery life issue where it drains faster than when it was new, but the fact that it went from 97% to 0% in about four hours is something different. It's been off the charger now for about 4.5 hours and is at 94%.
The other time this happened was also at night.
Ideas?

I followed those instructions, and also did a factory reset. One night was good, but last night it died again. Was at 100% at 8:30pm and I woke up at 3:15am it was dead and unresponsive.
plugged it in when I got up and it pretty quickly charged to 23% but at this point the device is pretty much useless to me. I need it for sleep data and as an alarm.
