Battery dyining within hours of charge

I've had my Ionic since January and the charge on it usually lasts 4-5 days.  Yesterday, it froze up during a swim yesterday and until it finally died and following the recharge it died within 4 hours.  I reset it and recharged it again and it lasted a few hours.  ILOVE my Ionic - but what the heck?!

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Seeing as you mentioned this started happening after a swim, do you think maybe there could be water damage? It certainly sounds like potential symptoms.

I think your best option in this case would be to contact support who should be able to assist you further.

I charged mine before bed the other night to 100%, put it on to sleep in, and woke up to it switched off because the battery was at 0%. Never been worn for swimming or even in the shower

Have you tried the restart procedure that @SunsetRunner suggested?

Yes, multiple times. I bought 2, one for me, one for my other half, neither one works correctly. Mine's not charging correctly, the other doesn't record any data whatsoever. Multiple shutdowns, restarts and factory resets, neither works properly
