My ionic isn’t connecting to gps when I go running. Also experiencing rapid battery discharge. Has anyone fixed the connection and battery issue?

Hello @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Let me share with you that the battery of our Ionic device was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the its features. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.
After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations. This article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance and could resolve the GPS connection difficulties. If you still experience GPS difficulties, please check: Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?
Keep me posted, I’ll be right here if you need anything else.

I have the exact same issue. GPS constantly searching. Tried all the community suggestions. restarted over and over. deleted app, tried everything. Its the watch. GPS wont work, searching makes the battery goes flat.
