On Oct. 17th, my Fitbit Ionic died an untimely death. To their credit, Fitbit offered to send me a replacement free of charge since it was still under warranty. That's the good news. The bad news is it is now Oct. 28th and my Fitbit replacement is still in transit. When I spoke with the sales rep, they promised to ship me a replacement and I would have it in 3 days. I was given a tracking number and 12 days later, still don't have the device. When I go to the tracking number, here's the journey the replacement fitbit has taken: Indianapolis, IN to Florence, SC to Tampa, FL to Orlando, FL to Petersburg, VA to Keasbey, NJ to Champaign, IL!!! to East Brunswick, NJ to Chatham, NJ. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow. If you encounter the same situation, ASK how it will be shipped, i.e. air, ground, will it be consolidated, etc. Ask for express mail even if you have to pay for it. I would have done that if offered. Disgraceful. I've written Fitbit's CEO.

@coffeelenI can feel your disappointment..
Fitbit sent me a replacement with the 3 days estimated delivery windows.It left Hong Kong on the Thursday and I was wearing it on the Monday evening.. and fully updated..
I had a parcel do that in Australia, it jumped all over the place, from one side of Australia to the other and back and across... and the original destination was 20 miles away..

Yes, but Fitbit could have instructed FedEx how to send it and they chose the cheapest method for Fitbit. That resulted in my Fitbit seeing more states than I have in 65 years! LOL.

I had the same experience: I paid extra and had my dead ionic mailed to Fitbit overnight. Fitbit waited a week and then put my replacement on a special variant of FedEx that took three weeks to deliver from Indiana to Massachusetts.
The only good part of this was that it forced me to dust off and recharge my Surge so I could use it for training for a couple weeks. What a relief! All the drama of trying to use the Ionic was suspended for a while.
