Black screen of death

I’ve read a lot of the posts regarding the black screen of death and none of the solutions fix it. The screen went black when I charged it due to low battery (10%). My app tells me the watch is now at 98% after charging but is also saying that it can’t connect to my watch. The screen is stuck off. I’ve tried every combination of holding buttons down, charging, plugging in and unplugging at specific times, everything that’s been suggested on here. The watch does nothing now. I was able to get the green lights for the heart rate monitor to pop up at first but now even those don’t do anything.

This is for the Ionic btw...

Hope you haven't recently used it for swimming? All I can suggest is to let the battery discharge so the Ionic gets a reset. At your own risk though. No guarantee that it will charge back up as these batteries appear to discharge to a voltage below what most chargers can charge them from. If that happen you can try a fast (higher current) charger like a QC3.0 compliant one.

Whilst on the charger you've held all 3 buttons down for 15-20secs?

Good luck!

Have experience the same problem and my year and half old . And the time is wrong yet again. No email to tell me batteries low only lasting two days on charge.....🤔😪

The watch is waterproof and has gone through 10 Spartan Races. None of that hurt the watch. All I did was plug it in.

Fixed? Yes and no hahaha. It’s still dead but Kohl’s has a great deal on a new one so it will be here this week. Mine was a year and a half old too.

Mine was a year and a half old. It seemed to be working perfectly fine up until this happened. I’m bummed because I really liked the watch.
