Blood Pressure log - Feature request

I'm new to fitbit. Just bought an Ionic this month and really happy, except I can't find anywhere to add my blood pressure. I have a machine at home and would just like to log on the app so I compare BPM, sleep etc. Any chance this could be a feature that could be added?

There used to be a log for that but Fitbit removed it.

I really couldn't understand why Fitbit removed this feature.  Hypertension is one of the biggest killers in the US as well as the developed world.  The "feature:" would be a simple optional App, much like the very lightly used "Water" app.  So if the user doesn't want it - then don't install it and it is invisible, with no data footprint. On the back end we are asking for two more columns of data.  Not much to ask, surely.

Heck, it could be a whole new sales line - how about "Fitbit compatible Blood Pressure monitors" which log directly to my Fitbit account?  I'd buy one in a heartbeat 🙂

The "Answer" below is not really an answer.  We need an answer of either "Not going to happen" so we can look elsewhere or "This is being considered for a future release".  Come on Fitbit - step up and help us track our real-world health.
