Bluetooth earbuds paired once now will no longer pair

I have JLab JBuds, which are BT 5.0 and I have paired them to my Ionic, however that stopped working so I have tried to pair them again, and they are found, but it just spins when the Ionic is pairing the earbuds. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get these to work again? I have Bose BT headphones that are seen and paired up almost immediately and they are BT 4.1. (go figure). I have tried pairing my earbuds without the Bose being paired and with them being paired and there is no difference. My Iphone finds and pairs them immediately as well. I turn off my phone, have the bluetooth off on my laptop and only have the ionic on, when I try to pair, so there is nothing else around that can interfere. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

It is sad that a device that has the heafty price tag can not perform as
designed. Seems the new upgrade to the software was the cause!? As
expected, so disappointed.
