Bluetooth headphones drop out after 30mins

Hi Fitbit team,

Firstly I would like to say that I love my ionic and accept that being a brand new product it may come with some bugs, however is there any chance in sorting a the Bluetooth issue. Halfway through my run the headphones cut out so I have to logout of my run repair them with my headphones and start another logged run. Any chance of looking into this.

Best Regards.

Yeah even though it said my headphones weren’t connected to my phone, I turned it off and the headphones then said disconnected but still playing through the watch. When I turned my phone back on, it didn’t reconnect and it continued to play without cutting out for my 30 min work out. So I did get it to work! Thanks

That happened to me also, two different headsets, once after about 30 min, once after about 10 min and yes, I am tracking my run too when it happens and no GPS either as it is indoors.   But I guess I want this to be ready for my Marathon end of May and it would be awesome if I would not have to take my iPhone with me.  I am glad to hear that it is also happening with Pandora and not only with the downloaded music from my playlist.

Fitbit Ionic OS version 27.31.1.29

Powerbeats 3 (2 different devices) and Skullcandy XTfree

Update: the stop/start trick worked for me but is very annoying.

I appears as if the new OS upgrade fixes this problem.

I agree. I've had a lot of problems with the Ionic, but recently everything from the Flyer dropout to the battery life has been improved.
