Bluetooth issues when listening to music

Hi,

I am experiencing problems when using the exercise running setting on my ionic and listening to music at the same time.  It does sort itself out after about 15 mins, but it does make the first 15 mins of the run very frustrating.

The Bluetooth connection works perfectly well in the house when just listening to music - can anyone help?

Thanks

Welcome on board @LAJ12, it's nice to see you here! Woman Very Happy When music is cutting on and off it is usually happening as a result of connectivity issues. Have you tried wearing your Ionic on the other hand/wrist? I've seen this has helped other users in the past.

I'd recommend performing a restart on Ionic in between the disconnecting and reconnecting process:

Something else you could do is resetting Bluetooth. Just turn it off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it back on. This could also help you with this.

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

I have tried this and it did not work for me.  I got a replacement Ionic for another issue and the new one has poor music quality unless it is about 12" from the Ionic.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @csf0816. I apologize for the delayed response and will be glad to assist you with your music control with your Fitbit Ionic.

Could you please confirm that you have followed the steps that @MarreFitbit has shared with us? Also, could you please try different earphones?

I´ll be waiting for your response.

@AndreaFitbit  I have completed the steps that @MarreFitbit shared with us and it did not solve the problem.

Per your suggestion I have tried another pair of headphones and that did not resolve the problem either.  The headphones I tired however do perform well with my wife's Fitbit Versa but I still experience the same issue.

Please advise.
