When running the music cuts all the time. Try to reconnect - same problem. Are the an issue with runningapp and Bluetooth used at the same time?

Unfortunately that's the way it works. Even Forunner 645 Music from Garmin has the same issue, even bigger than the Ionic.

No, you just have to wear your Ionic on the hand that is closer to the bluetooth receiver of you headphones. For example, if the bluetooth receiver of your headphones is located on the right, then you have to wear your Ionic on your right hand.
Hope that helps!

It hass to have a clear connection with the watch, no "obstacles" between the watch and the bluetooth receiver on the headphones.

I've wrestled with this same issue, the music cuts out unless my wrist is close to the headphones. Oddly though, sometimes it's rock-solid. No drops. Never been able to pin it to anything concrete until today.
I have a theory that perhaps involves this multi-point BT pairing feature. As I left my house for a run today, the music was cutting out. Then as usual, the headphones notified me that that they lost connection to my left-at-at-home iphone. But the headphones ALSO then immediately said that they lost connection with my Ionic--which was still on my wrist, and it continued to play music...it was still connected. The music was then 100% solid for the next hour, never dropped once.
I think the Ionic & Bose are somehow setting up duplicate channel pairings, and then headphones try to track them both. Maybe when it switches, it drops.
So, deleting all pairings stored on the ionic and the soundsport may well help. I've seen it posted elsewhere. Good luck, hope we get this solved!

Sometimes when i start/stop the earphones or connect/reconnect, I've noticed that a double connections does occur. The problems then arise when these simultaneous connections fight with each other for your audio. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 🙂
Just ran a 10k with a zillion other people. When I powered up in the starting corral, i heard the earphones connect twice to the Ionic. And the earphones were badly glitching. Did the procedure below, and ran the race with ZERO drops. Rock solid.
Pair your system per other instructions. Then right before you go running:
1. Check that the earphones are OFF.
2. Restart the Ionic (hold the left and lower right buttons for 10 sec, watch for the fitbit logo). Let it finish rebooting.
3. Put the earphones in you ear, and THEN power up. Let them connect, listen carefully, be sure that the phones only connect ONCE to the Ionic.
Hope this works for others, let me know. It's a really frustrating problem to have...
