Hi i just bought a new Fitbit Ionic just arrived in the post it had some residual battery but once I plugged it in and was about to start the setup process it turned off and hasn't come back on since, I can't tell if it's charging as there is no indication from the device that it has any power or that the charger is doing anything.
Don't know if it's faulty or there's a simple fix but I've had it on charge for about 30 minutes now and I have no idea if it's doing anything.
Please help if you can, thanks.

@SamJaques1994 First thing to try (if you have not yet) is to remove the charger and then re-apply. I've had some issues on mine with the magnetic contacts not fully engaging.
Then press the left button and see if it turns on.
If not try a restart - press the left button and the lower right button at the same time and hold in for 10 seconds.
Hope one of these steps works.

Hello, same thing happened to me. I received my brand new fitbit ionic. Took it out of the box today and tried to charge it but it seems completely dead. It doesn't respond to anything, screen is black, it's been charging for 4 hours and I cannot turn it on, tried everything, touch, pressing button, reset, different outlets, repositioning it. It is dead. How disappointing. I've been using the blaze for several years and never had any problems. Do you have a solution now?
