Brand New Ionic turns itself off after 20 minutes or so

Hello,

 

I bought an Ionic yesterday, completed set up and after a few hours it had turned itself off. Only way to restart is to plug the charger back in and do a restart. 

 

After this it now turns itself off after around 20 minutes. I have done 2 factory resets but the same thing is happening. Can't be turned back on without being plugged in and only last 20 minutes max.

 

First fitbit, so is there something I am missing in the set up process at all?

Yes. It has full battery each time it has done this. Tried another factory reset yesterday and the same thing has happened. I guess it needs to be returned?
