Brand New Ionic won’t turn on.

Just purchased a brand new Ionic this morning. I’ve charged for 2+ hours from a wall USB port and also tried to charge for 2 hours from laptop USB port. The watch screen has been black, with nothing seen the entire time. 

I’m thinking that maybe the charger is faulty. Any tips to get this thing operating??? Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Ionic doesn't turn on. Thank you for trying to charge from different sources. Please perform a restart by following these steps:

 

  1. Press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device? 

 

In addition, check the alignment and try reconnecting your Ionic to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
